I ordered this item, after reading some of the reviews. Mostly positive and for the price range, it's hard to beat. Let me be frank, the product itself is gorgeous. The drawers slide smoothly and you really can fit a lot into it. Darker than pictured, but I tend to like things on the dark side.My issue came with the delivery. It did come 3 days ahead of schedule. However it came on a freight truck. 18 wheeler that was not allowed to travel down my driveway (which is about the length of a football field) I live out in the sticks, what can I say, long driveways are a thing. And that's fine too. It also happened to be raining. Not the delivery driver's fault, but the timing was pure god-awful. So he gets in the back of his truck, takes this enormous package, strapped to a pallet and settles it at the top of my football field length gravel driveway. I don't have a truck. Clearly this thing isn't going to fit into my car, and a friend won't be around for another hour. Truck driver toddles off, without offering even to give it a covering, after I waited 10 minutes in the rain (at his behest, he called earlier and insisted that I be at the head of the driveway to meet him). Soaked to the bone, I'm left to somehow figure out how to get this massive 100 lb box down my driveway without help. Eventually, I get it there, turning the box on it's corners (Somehow, the dresser came out unscathed from my clumsy attempts to pivot it down). As a relatively muscular girl, it wasn't all that much work, outside of aching hands and arms, but I have to say that I have never, in 7 years of buying things online, felt how little a company cared about it's customers, until now. Instead of an 18 wheeler, it could easily have been delivered in a box van, via UPS or some other method. I'm left with a sour taste in my mouth, despite the item itself being remarkable in it's durability and looks.The package arrived earlier than expected. I have UPS shipping membership and so they notify me when I am going to receive a package. Amazon said that the dresser would be here the 6th of this month and it was delivered on the 6th instead with UPS having the correct tracking. I was pleasantly pleased that the dresser came so quickly, shipping was excellent and the driver brought the dresser into my living room for me. He was cute (a plus). Anyway, I had my very strong brother take it upstairs for me and I dragged it into my room and unraveled the box. It was fairly easy to get it unraveled. The quality was one of the things I was worried about. I had some bad experience with Particle board material. I am a recent college grad and finding sturdy things at an affordable price is very important to me. This seems very sturdy and is not heavy but is lightweight and well put together. The only problem I had was I purchased the Walnut colored dresser to match my bed decor and it was the Cappuccino color dresser that I received. It's not the end of the world and since I'm replacing the furniture in my room, I can work around it but that was a disappointment.Bureau was damaged in the front.i did not purchase furniture protection so I guess I'm screwed. Not worth $300.00Nice quality dresser and it looks nice. I did buy it for my daughters nursery but the corner looked like it was broken and just super glued back on. Also has some scratches and was just painted over again. Not happy as i will have to look at it all the time as my daughter will be born soon and i dont have time to be sending it back.I did contact costumer support and received a 30% refunded back to my account. Better than nothing!Drawers are cheap. The drawer glides are underneath very cheap. The ironic thing is the box says Coaster Fine Furniture but it's far from it. The outside of the box was well protected on the corners. However, there was no foam padding on the back like all the other sides. The marble top has a dent on the front but it's forgiving pattern made it not so noticeable BUT the backer board which is about 3/16 thick was damaged.For the money, maybe a dorm room piece or first time renter types. Pass it by. I bet cost is like $50 bucks and the price point should be $110. This product should come with disclaimers. Cheap.... 1 to 2 year life span product...I unbixed this dresser and the entire front was broken. The beams separating the drawer were not attached to the dresser waller. The gliders to the drawer are attached to that beam. The were falling every which way. The gliders wrre not attacher to anything other that them beam. It was a total mess!I do have the big 9 drawer dresser that matches this one that it is perfect and I was excited to get the matching peice. Looks like that isn't going to happen. Other sites for this chet show the same issues.A fairly noticeable scratch on the front and one drawer does not work. We've also received many compliments on how nice the set looks together.The dresser was broken when delivered. None of the drawers were properly aligned, and two of the drawers fell out (they cannot be put back in) making the dresser completely unusable. The wood was also scratched in several places. Very low quality product.
